Last week we were in the multiplex with Spider-Man, this week Culture Bucket is hitting up the local art house movie theatre to check out the latest offering from auteur Wes Anderson, The French Dispatch!
It might surprise you that out of these two films the one that is available to stream on Disney+ is the Wes Anderson film! It's hitting the streamer in various countries over the next week or so. Check it out and then check in with us to hear our thoughts!

The multiverse has finally arrived! Spider-Man: No Way Home finally arrived at the end of last year and stole the entire year all for itself, a true mega hit. Alex and George both loved it too and sat down to pull the entire thing apart. It's an epic special and if you listen closely you'll certainly hear George almost cry on at least three occasions, so strong is his love for all things friendly, neighbourhood Spider-Man.

Y’all know us. Know how we make a podcast. We’ll record this top 5 for you, but it ain’t gonna be easy. Big films. Not like going down the pond chasin’ Wes Anderson and David Lynch.
This director, swallow you whole. Little suspense, little adventure, an’ down you go. And we gotta do it quick, that’ll bring back our listeners, put all our episodes on a reviewin’ basis.
But it’s not gonna be pleasant. We value our necks a lot more than three thousand downloads, chief. We’ll talk about him for free, but we’ll rank him, and rate him, for free (also.) But you’ve gotta make up your minds. If you want to stay alive, then download us. If you want to play it cheap, be on welfare the whole winter. We don’t want no volunteers, we don’t want no mates, there’s just too many podcasts on this island. $10,000 for us by ourselves. For that you get the culture catch up, the MyTube, the whole damn top 5.

It's time for another Culture Bucket special! For the first time ever George and Alex are doing a deep dive on an album.
If you've listened to much Culture Bucket you'll know that George and Alex have a lot of appreciation for the Bristol based IDLES and they've just put out their fourth studio album, CRAWLER. It's a mammoth piece of work with all the punch and fury of their past releases but with hidden layers of depth. There are so many moments on this album that feel completely new to the IDLES sound but feel totally at home at the same time. So, with so much to discuss, settle in and listen to George and Alex pull every track apart and do our best to discuss how we feel about it and what we think it all means.
